Peanut Butter Banana Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13" x 9" baking dish.
Heat the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a double boiler until melted. Set aside to cool slightly.
Cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the bananas, vanilla, and eggs, and mix through. Gradually add the peanut butter and chocolate. Mix together.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl. Gradually add to the creamed ingredients. Mix just until combined. Stir in the walnuts.
Pour into the prepared baking dish, and spread evenly. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
